Every time I scroll through my own Instagram, it feels like flipping through a modern-day darkroom — a personal collection of moments frozen in time, captured from high above my hometown. 📸✨
When I first picked up a drone, it was all about the rush of seeing Syracuse from a brand-new angle. Over time, though, my photography evolved — from simple overhead shots to chasing light, finding emotion in landscapes, and telling the real story of this incredible place from the sky.
Syracuse has given me so many unforgettable scenes to chase — from the glowing heart of Downtown Syracuse to the historic charm of Franklin Square, the electric energy of Syracuse University, the peaceful stretch of Onondaga Lake, the colorful buzz of the Inner Harbor, and the hidden beauty tucked into every park, corner, and rooftop.
I’ve captured sunsets washing over the Dome, fall colors blanketing Elmwood Park, the first snow coating Thornden Park, and golden hour dancing along the Erie Canal.

Downtown Syracuse has undergone an incredible transformation—and no time of year makes that more apparent than spring. As the city shakes off winter’s gray, Franklin Square becomes the crown jewel of renewal. The brick-lined paths and historic architecture are suddenly framed by bursts of color—blossoms exploding in rich reds, snowy whites, and soft pinks that seem to appear overnight.
Just a couple of weeks can make all the difference. One day it’s bare branches and a hint of warmth in the breeze… and the next, you’re walking through a living painting. The peaks of the magnolias, the petals drifting like confetti—it’s pure magic. Franklin Square feels like a secret garden in the heart of the city, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite transitions of the entire year.
It’s a reminder that change doesn’t always happen slowly. Sometimes, all it takes is a little sunlight, a few warm days, and nature leaps into full bloom—just like downtown Syracuse has.
